IMC approaches social responsibility strategically - in order to ensure a sustainable future for society, our consumers and our company. It aims to go beyond doing the right thing to catalyzing change in education and health. Care and Share primarily works over these sectors in order to help people who are in need.

Swachh Bharat

Nearly 1000 IMC volunteers gathered on November 18th in Haridwar to push PM Narendra Modi’s swachh Bharat initiative to another level altogether. Uptaking the task of maintaining cleanliness in India, IMC took its first step by cleaning Har Ki Podi. All IMC volunteers made sure to contribute their bit in cleaning India.

The idea behind this was to propagate the Swachh Bharat campaign, initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to reach out to maximum people and spread awareness amongst them.

Each One, Teach One!

With an aim of working towards education, IMC has launched Each One Teach One campaign and is funding the education of underprivileged children who otherwise cannot afford to go to private schools due to financial constraints. To help in children development IMC is also providing milk everyday to the children of Ekjot Viklan School, Ludhiana.

Water issues

Water and hygiene are the basic essentials of life. There are over 2billion people still using unsafe drinking water sources. With an attempt of controlling this, IMC installed water coolers in schools, gurudwaras, mandirs and public markets to protect people from water borne diseases.

Blankets for the needy

IMC thinks, its not about changing the lives of the people but doing something even more basic i.e making them survive, enabling them to fight their battle of survival against Mother Nature. IMC has a strong inner drive to do something for them and they started off by donating 500 blankets at Har Ki Podi in Haridwar.
